Innovative Thinking for a Lafayette Hill Bathroom Remodel
July 9, 2014 | Written by Josh Robinson | Posted in Bathroom
This Lafayette Hill bathroom remodel required some creative thinking. The room had some odd angles and a linen closet was interfering with the design potential. It was time to think outside of the traditional rectangle-shaped bathroom!
JR Carpentry & Tile’s first decision was to remove the linen closet. We relocated it by adding a 45° angle wall to the side of the linen closet to house the plumbing. This cut down the dividing wall between the shower stall and tub, therefore creating a more open concept.
The tub half wall was then lowered to match the height of the windowsill. It was completely remodeled with new tile and granite. The finishing touches were installing new plumbing fixtures and a new vanity.
Does your bathroom feature some quirky angles? Whether you want to showcase them or start from scratch, JR Carpentry & Tile can create the bathroom of your dreams. Let us give you a free quote today!
