Bringing The Great Outdoors Inside A King Of Prussia Bathroom

If you’re a fan of the great outdoors, you’re going to love this King of Prussia bathroom remodeling project we just finished!
The original bathroom was plain and drab, and didn’t quite fit in with the unique look of the rest of the home. JR Carpentry & Tile spoke with the homeowner and found out that he loved spending time outside, hiking in the mountains and sleeping in log cabins.
Of course, that became the inspiration for this project…and the homeowner loved it so much he asked us to carry the theme over to the powder room!
We tore out the original fiberglass shower stall in the bathroom, builder grade oak cabinets, and boring 6×6 white tile from the walls.
With the old materials gone, we got right to work transforming the bathroom. We installed gorgeous earth-toned tile throughout. The tiles varied in size depending on where they were installed, with the largest tiles being laid on the floor and the smallest ones being placed in the shower stall.
The cabinets were made out of wood and shaped to fit a handmade copper sink and fixtures. All of the new fixtures were made of oil-rubbed bronze to keep with the earthy feel of the rest of the bathroom.
After we finished with the bathroom, we moved on to the powder room. We installed a new vanity, medicine cabinet, and even a beautiful antler light fixture. It feels like we’re in the middle of the woods!
The gorgeous new bathroom and powder room are both so unique. We love every last detail, and hope the homeowner feels transported to the great outdoors as he gets ready every day.
